The Japan National High School Baseball Championship, where the Korean-Japanese Kyoto International High School, founded by Koreans in Japan, performed a miracle of victory on the 23rd, is one of the best sporting events in Japan, commonly known as Koshien.

When Koshien Stadium in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan opened in 1924 to host the Japan National High School Baseball Tournament, the name of the stadium, Koshien, became a word that symbolized the Japan National High School Baseball Tournament.

Currently, Koshien Stadium is used as the home stadium of the Hanshin Tigers, a representative team in the Kansai region of Nippon Professional Baseball, when the High School Baseball Tournament is not being 추천 held.

Koshien is broadly divided into the Spring Koshien hosted by the Mainichi Shimbun and the Summer Koshien hosted by the Asahi Shimbun.

The origin of the Summer Koshien is the 1915 Japan National Junior High School Baseball Championship (later renamed to the High School Championship). Kyoto International High School is the champion of the Summer Koshien, which is now in its 106th year.
